Tess

Tess started music lessons with piano at five years old. She has also studied voice and alto saxophone along her musical journey. She has successfully completed VCE Music Performance.

She’s a natural educator and has a great rapport with kids.  Her two main passions are music and medicine; she loves playing and teaching music with others. She is currently studying medicine at the University of Melbourne, and has a particular interest in paediatrics.

She teaches:

Sarah

Music has played a big part in Sarah’s life. She began studying piano at age 6 and was classically trained at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin for 11 years.

As a qualified primary school teacher, she have vast experience working with children of varying ages in a group setting. She loves working with children and seeing their infectious enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. She strongly believes in the importance of music for young learners in developing their self-esteem and creativity.

She has a Diploma of Associate-Pianoforte-Teacher, from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and a Bachelor of Education-Primary Teaching, from the Froebel Department, Maynooth University, Ireland. She teaches:

Holly

Holly brings a wealth of music lesson experience to our teaching team. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (Uni of Sydney) and a Certificate III & IV (Jazz/Popular) from NMIT. She is an experienced teacher, and has performed in both professional and community ensembles such as concert bands, swing bands, amateur musical society productions, cover bands, jazz combos, mandolin orchestra, choirs and duos. She’s a regular member of the Melba Big Band and she performs in a number of other musical ensembles. She teaches:

Rohan

Rohan is a pianist, guitarist and bassist who has been teaching music to young children from the age of fourteen. His teaching places a focus on students having fun with and enjoying music, while also learning the necessary skills to develop into a brilliant musician.

Having completed his studies in Music Performance at VU Polytechnic, he is now studying Composition and Music Technology at Monash University, while also playing in various bands. He teaches:

Nate

Nate is a multi-instrumentalist who’s been playing Piano, Clarinet and Saxophone from a young age. He has successfully completed AMEB exams on multiple instruments to a high level.  His live performance experience includes playing in Jazz big bands, Horn quartets, Klezmer, musical productions, and more! Nate is an enthusiastic educator and has been teaching children since he was young. He believes that in order to become a great musician, it is essential to incorporate fun into learning, alongside fundamental skills, and his ethos fits perfectly at Sharon Davis Music. He teaches:

Jenny

Jenny is passionate about music education and always looking for new challenges. She is a patient, encouraging and very experienced music teacher, who has taught in a variety of settings.

She is a multi instrumentalist, who has mastered Australian Music Examinations Board Grade 8 Piano, Trumpet and Theory, and in addition to those instruments also teaches Trombone to intermediate level and woodwind to beginners. 

She is in demand as a musician as an active member of the Melba Big Band and as a piano accompanists for AMEB exams for other instruments. Jenny teaches:
