| My 4 year old son has been attending the key notes class since last term. With no prior background or experience with or even exposure to musical instruments, it’s amazing how quickly he has picked up basic music concepts. He loves the piano sessions, he loves his teacher (Zara) who truly does a fabulous job with the little ones. And I always enjoy chatting with the super friendly staff and other parents in the lovely waiting area where there’s always an instrument for my baby to explore as well! Its hard to find other music classes that do serious instrument teaching (in a very fun manner) for such a young age in a group setting. Help your child LOVE music with our expert, kind teachers. We care deeply about nurturing pre-instrument skills for your child. This is not a music class where you’ll just shake some tambourines for 30 min; children will develop musical skills. Enjoy the community and musical connection.

“Sound Before Sight” encourages your love of music and supports early “wins” playing the piano. Just like you learnt to speak before reading and writing, in this class, we learn to play and love music first. (Formal music reading is introduced later.)

| What are the dates? | We follow the Victorian School Term, starting in the second week. This makes it more relaxing for everyone! |
| Do I need to stay in the class? | No. Some children like a parent there for the first class. After that, most are happy on their own. You can wait in reception, watch through the glass, or step out nearby. We’ll always call if needed. |
| Where can I park? | There’s free 3hr parking nearby behind Petbarn, and pram parking in the lobby of the building. |
| How do I pay? | Check out our Subscription for easy autopayments. You’ll never need to remember to sign up from one term to the next! |
| Class has started for the term. Can I still join? | Yes! All group classes have materials with multiple difficulty levels, so there’s always easy things for newcomers to be able to participate immediately, even if you’ve missed some classes. |
| I’m not sure if my child will want to do the whole term | We’re so confident you’ll love your class, we offer a Risk Free Guarantee. If it’s not for you, just email us to withdraw before your Week 4 class and receive a partial refund. |
