Sharon Davis is a professional piano player & vocalist based in Melbourne, Australia.
In her 30 year live career, Sharon has played with and supported some of the finest musicians from Australia and overseas. Most notably Australian Idol star Emily Williams, ARIA Award-winning platinum selling singer Kate Ceberano and Grammy Award-winning American trumpeter, composer, producer Maurice “Mobetta” Brown.
Sharon maintains a busy solo and band gig diary in and around Melbourne. Venues include Memo Hall, The Spiegeltent, The Paris Cat, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Town Hall, The RACV club and Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.
She works as a soloist, doing completely live piano and vocal gigs. The Sharon Davis Trio includes local Jazz musicians on guitar and percussion/drums.
She supplies solid rhythm section keyboards and backing vocals to a wide range of other bands, including the Elvis Big Band, the Aretha Project and Queens of Soul. Singers love her supportive and thoughtful accompaniment.
She holds an Associate Diploma in Jazz, piano Major from the WA Conservatorium of Music.
